ZARsc is now on CoinGecko

CoinGecko now tracks ZARsc's price and market data, on its own methodology and independently of Supercoin. Anyone weighing ZARsc can check the record without asking us for it.

‍

‍

‍

ZARsc, a Rand-pegged stablecoin issued onto Solana, now has a page on CoinGecko. The price, volume and market data on it comefrom CoinGecko's own tracking across the venues where ZARsc trades.

‍

‍

CoinGecko has run as an independent, self-funded company since 2014 and tracks more than 20,000 crypto assets. It prices every one of them with the same published methodology. It scores each trading pair on spread, order-book depth, trade frequency and outlier checks, so volume that is not real shows up as a weak score. ZARsc gets no special treatment. That is why we wanted it there.

‍

‍

‍

Every claim, checked by someone else

‍

Each part of ZARsc that matters already answers to someone outside Supercoin. The FSCA licenses us. Moore performs independent monthly procedures over the ZARsc reserve position, and we publish every report. Fireblocks secures custody. Chainalysis monitors transactions on the network. And CoinGecko now keeps the market record.

‍

Where the data goes next

‍

CoinGecko data travels. Wallets, portfolio trackers, dashboards, and developer tools build on its API.‍

‍

With ZARsc listed, any of those apps can show ZARsc from data they already pull, without a separate integration with Supercoin.‍

‍

That changes where due diligence starts. A treasury team weighing ZARsc for settlement can check the market record, the licence and the monthly reports before anyone books a call. A trader in Durban and a treasury team in Sandton now look at exactly the same page.

‍

‍

‍

Reading the ZARsc page

‍

Please note that CoinGecko shows prices in US dollars by default. ZARsc is pegged to the Rand, so its dollar price naturally moves with the exchange rate. Be sure to switch the page currency to ZAR to see ZARsc against the Rand it is pegged to.

ZARsc is available on Luno, VALR, OVEX and Orca. The Supercoin wallet launches in early 2027.

‍

"Developers do not come directly to us first. They look a token up, check the address and read the numbers. We want ZARsc there when they do, on a page someone else keeps and verifies."
Gideon Greaves, Managing Director, Supercoin
